Topic: “Using Steve Morse’s Website to Research Italian Genealogy”. Morse’s website has a wide range of online tools to help genealogists.
Guest speaker: Rosyln Torella. Torella specializes in Italian and immigrant genealogy. She lectures on genealogy for local societies and interest groups; conducts workshops, and writes for “La Gazzetta Italiana”. She also has a passion for local history and is the self-appointed, unofficial town historian for her hometown of Lowellville, Ohio.
In her presentation to CIAO members and guests, Torella will acquaint researchers with the large collection of online tools available on Morse’s website and show how they can be used to gather Italian genealogy information.
