The Italian Sons and Daughters of America (ISDA) has partnered with the Cleveland Italian Ancestry Organization (CIAO) to provide our members with FREE virtual seminars focused on genealogy and dual citizenship.
The next Zoom meeting takes place this Saturday, December 2 at 10 am Eastern Standard Time. CIAO President Tom Cirincione and Vice President John Vallillo will deliver insights, provide resources, and field questions on navigating the dual citizenship process and tapping into your family histories.
Special Guest: Suzie Greco, founder of Italian Parish Records.
Greco is leading an unprecedented effort to access and digitize church archives across Italy that have been sealed away for centuries. These archives contain one-of-a-kind records that encapsulate almost the entirety of Italy’s people, exclusively from 1500 to the 1900s. Many of these records are handwritten on old paper that has deteriorated over time. Greco is working to have these records digitized before they are inextricably lost.
